Well-formed track: The track is bitumen seal and 5.3m wide along most of its length.
As it nears O'Hares Creek lookout, the track becomes 2m-wide hard-packed ground and then turns into a 2m-wide fibre-reinforced polymer mesh elevated walkway.

Gates: There's a locked vehicle gate at the start of the walk, with pedestrian and wheelchair access around the gate.
Getting there and parking

O'Hares Creek lookout walking track is in the Wedderburn precinct of Dharawal National Park. To get there:
- From Appin Road, turn onto Woodland Road at St Helens Park and continue for 1.4km.
- Turn right onto Karrabul Road and drive for 300m before continuing on Wedderburn Road for 4.6km
- Turn right onto Minerva Road and follow for 1.2km. Continue on Lysaght Road for 1.2km.
- Turn left onto Victoria Road and drive for 700m. Park near entrance gate.

Parking is available in an asphalt carpark at the start of the walk, including 2 accessible parking spaces.
Best times to visit
Dharawal National Park is a great place to visit all year round. Head to the park for a refreshing dip during summer, a weekend picnic in the winter sun, some wildflower spotting during spring or an autumn walk or bike ride.

- Most of the track is 5.3m-wide and bitumen seal
- As it approaches O'Hares Creek lookout, the track narrows to 2m-wide and becomes hard-packed ground before turning into an elevated fibre-reinforced polymer mesh walkway.

- There are accessible toilets at the start of the track, set along a concrete path.
