The following roads in Monga National Park are closed to all traffic for essential road works until end of June 2025:
- Boundary Ft heading East North East from the intersection with Gollarrabee Fire Trail
- Milo Road heading South from the intersection with McQuarie Road

Closed areas: Misty Mountain Road closed from Kings Highway due to flood damage
Misty Mountain Road is currently closed from the Kings Highway through to the intersection with No Name Road and Bolaro Road due to flood damage to infrastructure following the most recent rain event. Old Bolaro Road can provide alternate access from the Kings Highway, however this is a 4WD access road only and sections of the road are not suitable for 2WD. Repairs to infrastructure is required before this road will be reopened and will run through to the end of June, weather dependent.
It is not safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters, so please consider rescheduling your visit and avoid travel through areas in this park. Follow all road sign directives and do not attempt to enter closed areas. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information, contact the local park office.

Safety alerts: Cycling Hazards in Conjola National Park
Cycle routes in Conjola National Park may currently be unsuitable for some cyclists due to recent roadworks. There are many sections of large ballast rock that have been used in boggy areas that may be difficult for cyclists to negotiate. It is hoped these will silt up over time and be more suitable for cyclists.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an ongoing ground baiting program from Monday 03 March 2025 to Monday 29 September 2025. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and/or foxes.
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species and will take place in:
- Araluen Nature Reserve
- Badja Swamps Nature Reserve
- Beowa National Park
- Berlang State Conservation Area
- Bondi Gulf Nature Reserve
- Bournda National Park
- Bournda Nature Reserve
- Coolumbooka Nature Reserve
- Deua National Park
- Eurobodalla National Park
- Kooraban National Park
- Majors Creek State Conservation Area
- Mimosa Rocks National Park
- Monga National Park and State Conservation Area
- South East Forest National Park
- Wadbilliga National Park
Signs will be placed at the entry to baiting locations. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands.
Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Closed areas: Penance Grove Boardwalk & Walking Track Closed Permanently
Due to extensive damage to infrastructure and trees during the 2019/2020 fires, the Penance Grove Boardwalk and Walking Track have been permanently closed. Any reference to these areas on third party websites is old content and now incorrect. Due to the extent of damage and complete loss of all infrastructure, there are currently no plans to reinstate the area.
The Corn Trail walking track, Dasyurus picnic area and Mongarlowe River picnic area all remain available.
